My values

Let me introduce myself

Hiya! I’m Pili — a Mindfulness teacher and coach. I work with women who are navigating the many demands of business, leadership, and life, helping them find clarity, balance, and self-compassion along the way.

What do I stand for?

When women work with me, I want them to feel safe, understood, inspired, and always in choice. These values are not just ideas I talk about—they are the way I live, both at home and in my work. They guide everything I do, from supporting women in executive roles to creating bilingual spaces for community and connection.

Here are the values I live by and bring into every space I create through Mindful Pili:

1. Kindness and compassion

Kindness is at the heart of everything I do. I offer a compassionate, non-judging ear, holding space with empathy and care. I also know how hard it can be to show kindness to ourselves—I’ve faced my own inner critic many times. By sharing this openly, I remind women that self-compassion is not a weakness, but a powerful strength that helps us navigate challenges with greater ease.

2. Integrity and authenticity

For me, integrity means walking the same path I invite others to explore. I share my own vulnerabilities in my blog and Substack, and I bring mindfulness into everyday life—even in simple moments like daily chores.

My work is also grounded in professional standards: I invest in ongoing training, comply with the Good Practice Guidelines, hold regular supervision, and attend retreats and Mindfulness Days of practice. This ensures I show up with authenticity and accountability, while creating a safe, trustworthy space for others.

3. Presence and awareness

Mindfulness is more than a practice—it’s a way of being. I find it in small pauses: taking a breath before sending an email, grounding before a difficult meeting, or slowing down during a busy morning.

These moments of awareness are not only personal—they are essential for leadership. Mindfulness helps us respond rather than react, make decisions with clarity, and bring steadiness into the middle of pressure.

4. Community and connection

I believe growth is not something we do alone. Through my bilingual content, online courses, and Substack, I connect with women who are navigating the demands of business and life, often across cultures and languages.

At the heart of this is women supporting women. While men also benefit from these practices, my focus is on creating spaces where women leaders feel seen, supported, and reminded they don’t have to carry it all alone.

5. Sustainability and care for the planet

Mindfulness has taught me that caring for myself also means caring for the world around me. For me, this looks like mindful decluttering and supporting local charities.

I believe personal well-being and environmental well-being are deeply connected. Just as mindfulness invites us to live with greater awareness, it also inspires more sustainable ways of living and working. I invite you to explore more about this connection on my Mindfulness and Sustainability page
